EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J.(AP) -- Devin Harris is expected to play
Saturday, a sorely needed boost for the winless New Jersey Nets.
A team spokesman says Harris will come off the bench Saturday
when the Nets (0-12) host the New York Knicks.
The All-Star point guard has missed 10 straight games with an
injured right groin. He was originally hurt in the preseason,
then reinjured the groin on Oct. 30 in the Nets' second game of
the season.
Harris' injury has been one of many that has devastated New
Jersey, which often has suited up only the league-minimum eight
players while missing as many as four starters.
